One man touched the side of the elephant and assumed it was like a wall, another touched the tusk and assumed it was like a spear, another man touched the trunk and assumed it was like a snake, next man touched the leg and assumed it was like a tree, another man touched the ears and assumed it was like a big fan, and the last blind man touched the tail and assumed it was like a rope. Due to their blindness, each of them touch only a part of the elephant's body and mistook it as another being or another object.
